The Less Alone More Alive Project

Co-developed with Annie Sutton a trauma informed MHFA and theatre practitioner. The initiative blends performance, lived experience  and creative wellbeing. Rooted in the Cultural Health and Wellbeing Framework, the project centres participant wellbeing and has engaged diverse groups.

The Less Alone, More Alive! workshops offer a warm, welcoming space with experienced practitioners who focus on connection, community, creativity and care.

There will be tea, snacks, and music, fostering creativity through games, writing, sculpture, and reflection. Inspired by Suzy’s own recovery journey, the sessions share a wellbeing toolkit aimed at helping participants find joy, connection, and healing. We encourage participation in a way that feels right for you.

''The way that Suzy uses her own experience and performance to introduce the work, is an effective way of communicating what they are trying to achieve in a 'show me don't tell me' method, one that is accessible to a far wider audience than simply explaining. Her performance models vulnerability, storytelling to process emotions and connect, and sets the foundations for young people to then engage their own creativity to tell their story with mental health and wellbeing."
